Last week me ([lj]alexismckee[/lj]), [lj]td_fox[/lj] and [lj]kenai[/lj] went to "Eilandse toren" (literally "Island Lighthouse") on the island texel in north Holland. Here are a few shots from the lighthouse:

Fursuit Calendar 2007

A very nice item available for all your fursuit fanatics out there. The official'ish 2007 fursuit calendar by the wonderful creatures over at sofawolf press:

Here's the sales pitch:

The creative folks at Sofawolf Press (one folk, really, Jeff Eddy), with the help of a number of guest judges, ranked over a hundred photo submissions to select twelve different fursuits in different settings to grace the months of the year. Be sure to stop by the Sofawolf Press website to see who made the final cut. Many thanks to all who submitted photos this year! We even managed to squeeze in some of the runners-up for your enjoyment.

The calendars will have their official release at Midwest Furfest, and web sales will begin on November 20th. We'll be selling them at MFF at a special con rate of $10, tax included. That's nearly $2 off our web catalog price, not to mention free of shipping and handling! So be prepared to buy in bulk, and if you're not going to make MFF yourself, pester your friends who are to do your shopping for you!

[lj]bigbluefox[/lj] and the EF team are already well on their way with next year's installment of Eurofurence. A little preview has been posted to keep ya all on your toes. Here's the sales pitch:

As Eurofurence keeps growing, we need to find larger venues. Youth hostels are getting sparse considering we need more than 400 beds and a properly sized function space.

Next year, EF will be hosted at a new site. It's going to be a new experience for all of us. But, to make your mouth water a bit, here we have some previews.
